Sava Perovic Surgical Team Schedule

The Sava Perovic Surgical Team performs surgery long hours most days of the week when Team Leader Dr Rados Djinovic (Doktor Radoš Đinović) is in Belgrade.

We understand that waiting for an evaluation from Dr Djinovic can be challenging. Thank you for your patience.

Please be aware that the case manager is unable to push Dr Djinovic to do more or do anything faster.

During busy periods, the evaluation cycle can take as long as 30 days.

Dr Djinovic's surgery schedule tends to be fully booked at least 7-8 weeks in advance.

Many people are booking surgery 12-20 months in advance.

Some people are asking for appointments in the first quarter of 2014.

FtM Phalloplasty waiting list

Patients are coming from as far as Japan, Korea and China, Brazil and South Africa.

Increasingly often, we have a record number of cases pending evaluation by Dr Djinovic and members of the general public (not yet patients) must wait a record number of days to get a surgery or consultation appointment or answers to questions that could not be answered by the case manager.

Those are not the types of new records we aim for but it's the result of the tremendously good surgical results that improve daily.

Richard notifies prospective patients the same day Dr Djinovic comments about your case.

Professor Perovic and Dr Djinovic have long had a policy of never turning anyone away that asked for help (unless surgery was medically inadvisable).

Dr Djinovic is reluctant to improve the situation by helping fewer people and starting to reject some requests for help.

He wants to continue that policy of helping everyone who asks.

As a result, the evaluation cycle is getting longer, the surgeon's schedule is filling up further and further into the future, patients are requesting appointments as far as 20 months ahead, and Dr Djinovic is always in a hurry and always late.

That is because he always does his best to get supreme surgical results for the person on the operating table in front of him. Everyone else must wait.

Dr Djinovic always takes as much time to do surgery as is required — until he cannot possibly do any better. That means he finishes very late every day and is usually exhausted.

FtM SRS Packages A-F & other long, complex urogenital reconstructive surgery procedures are sometimes booked 6-12 months in advance.

Some days in the months ahead are already fully booked.

Establish your suitability for the surgery you want & propose surgery for the day most convenient for you and we will try to make that work.

If the doctor is unable to make room in his busy schedule on the day you most prefer, he will propose the next nearest available date for your consideration.

You greatest chance of getting the date you want is book your appointments in advance.

Patients who document they are suitable candidates for the surgery requested and book their surgery in advance are more likely to get their first choice of a date (or close to it).

We recommend you propose a Plan A and a Plan B date.
